May 13: How to work with Chronic Pain
6:00-6:45pm
In Person | $15
“The main point is developing some kind of appetite for the universe, that everything is workable and lovable.” – Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche.  This famous quote by the Tibetan Buddhist teacher indicates the potential to feel joy and appreciation for our lives even under difficult and challenging circumstances by becoming more mindful.  In this 45-minute monthly meeting, we will explore everyday life topics and our experiences through discussion and practice.  Each monthly session will begin with a brief centering meditation followed by a discussion of how to work with specific afflicted states of being that affect our daily lives, and antidotes such as loving-kindness, cultivation of self-compassion, and more.  All are welcome.
