Tibet House US- Refund Policy

Thank you for participating in a Tibet House US program! Your support is deeply appreciated. Below please find guidelines for refunds should circumstances arise which make it difficult for you to participate. To request a refund within the designated timeframes, email events@thus.org.

IN-PERSON EVENTS – If you request a refund at least 72 hours prior to the start of an in-person program, you will be issued the full amount (minus a 5% processing fee) to your original method of payment. A 50% refund (minus a 5% processing fee) will be issued for requests made between 24-72 hours prior to the start of the program. No refunds will be issued within 24 hours prior to the start of the program. In case of emergency, such as the contraction of illness or another unavoidable situation, please contact us to discuss options.

ONLINE EVENTS – Due to the integrated nature of the Events@THUS member portal, registrants receive access to sensitive course information – such as the Zoom link to access the program and other course materials – immediately upon purchasing their ticket, and many programs also offer a recording post-event to accommodate those who cannot attend live. Our refund policy for online programs takes these factors into consideration. For online programs that do offer a recording, no refunds will be given. For online programs that do not offer a recording, a full refund (minus a 5% processing fee) will be issued for requests made at least 72 hours prior to the start of the program. A 50% refund (minus a 5% processing fee) will be issued for requests made between 24-72 hours prior to the start of the program. No refunds will be issued within 24 hours prior to the start of the program.

MULTI-WEEK COURSES – If you must leave a multi-week course while it is in session, please contact events@thus.org to discuss options which are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
