Join us for an early evening discussion and slide show about the Jangchub Choeling Nunnery in Mundgod, South India, after the completion of day 1 creating a sand mandala onsite at Tibet House. We anticipate a fascinating conversation with the Nuns from Jangchub Choeling Nunnery, as they share stories about their lifestyle, and the journey they took to becoming a monastic. Jangchub Choeling Nunnery was founded in 1987 envisioned as an educational institution for women of all ages to pursue the study of Buddhist philosophy and practice as outlined in the Nalanda tradition. This program is presented in conjunction with the creation of an extraordinary Tara sand mandala.
