LONESOME PRESS LAUNCHES LONESOME N°1 An evening of poetry and music hosted by Monique Erickson celebrating the release LONESOME N° 1: YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE Featuring performances by Penny Arcade, Matt Proctor, Ashley Escobar, Jordan Galland, Ingrid Jacobsen, Norman Salant, and Lisette Austin.


LONESOME PRESS is an independent imprint focused on poetry and the arts. LONESOME N° 1: YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE is a community-driven interdisciplinary and intergenerational hardcover journal of poetry, art. This inaugural issue has been produced in two limited, signed editions of 500 (one numbered in black ink, and one in red). LONESOME N°1 is edited by Monique Erickson and art directed by Alex Wiederin / Buero New York. LONESOME PRESS is a proud member of the Council of Literary Magazines and Presses (CLMP). Monique Erickson is a poet, writer, editor, and curator from New York City. She has been featured in NYT, NYMAG, WSJ, WWD, Another, Dazed, Purple, Paper, Reserved, White Hot Mag, and in the current issue of Live Mag! In another life, Monique served as the longtime commercial director of the heritage brand Erickson Beamon. She can be found at @myfairmomo and @thelonesomepress. Penny Arcade is an actress, poet, essayist, video & theatre maker. She has brought East Village experimental theater to international mainstream audiences since 1993. Penny is the author of 16 full length plays and hundreds of performance pieces. She debuted at 18 in John Vaccaro’s Playhouse Of The Ridiculous and was a teenage superstar for Andy Warhol’s Factory featured in the film Women In Revolt. patreon.com/pennyarcade
Norman Salant is a NYC songwriter and singer and former saxophonist who has released 10 albums (8 on sax, 2 singer / songwriter). Norman’s saxophone / compositional career was illustrious; aside from his renowned work as a leader he also recorded with The Residents and Romeo Void.
Jordan Galland is an NYC based filmmaker, musician, playwright, and actor. He has written and directed four feature filma. Jordan made his off-Broadway debut performing his play “Orchid or Kid” at the Chain Theatre in Winter 2023 and his play “One-Eighty” ran in June 2023 at the Latea Theater. jordangalland.com/
