Join Franck Raharinosy for an evening seance of sound: starting with a series of light, gentle movements and a deep breathing exercise to relax your body and mind, the experience then proceeds to offer a deep meditation through sound that unlocks unique states of relaxation and mindfulness.

Our nervous and adrenal systems can recuperate by addressing the energetic stressors inherent in NYC living. Gong meditations, a type of Sound therapy, have been around for thousands of years as a way of healing. Multiple tones and overtones build as it is played, creating layers of sounds that can be directly felt by those experiencing it. Emotionally it helps to quieten the mind.

The gong is said to cut through the ego, leaving a person to be their authentic self. The benefits one can get from being exposed to the tones of the gongs are numerous yet vary considerably from significant improvements in the quality of their sleep, a better ability to cope with stress, and a sense of familiarity with stillness and contentment.
