Dr. Alexander K. Smith holds a PhD in Tibetan history and philology from the University of Paris, France (EPHE – PSL), an MA from Oxford University in Tibetan studies, and a BA from American University in Washington, DC. In association with Tibet House US, he is the co-producer of The Animated History of Tibet, as well as the managing director of Armchair Academics, a US-based independent educational video production company.
