Age of 13, he became monk at Gaden Jangtse Thoesam Norling Monastery. In the monastery he started learning Tibetan Language and basic Buddhist Philosophy, rite and rituals.
At the age of15 he took ordination vows from 100th Gaden Tri Rinpoche Lobsang Nyima And then he started studying on five major Buddhist Texts. He studied Pramana (Valid
Cognition) for 3 years, Prajnaparamita (The Perfection of the wisdom) for 6 years, Madhyamika (Middle Way) for 3 years, Abhidharma (Treasure of Knowledge) for 2 years and Vinaya (Ethical rules for the sanga) for 3 years.
In 2002 he took the Bhikshu Vows from His Holiness the Dalai Lama at Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh.
In 2015 he attended the Gelukpa Board Examination for six years and successfully passed in 2020. Then he gave the Lharampa’s oath during the Special Prayer Gatherings monks of Three Buddhist Universities in 2021. In the same year he went to Gyudmed Tantaric University at Hunsur Settlement near Mysore to study and practice Tantra and Sutra for one
year. He completed this course successfully and received Ngarampa Certificate.
By virtue of his expertise on Buddhist rituals, his scholarship on Buddhist Philosophy and his profound motivation to alleviate the sentient beings from the suffering of this Samsara, Mahayana Vajrana Buddhist Institute in Kaohsiung in Taiwan has invited him to undertake Buddhist rituals for the benefit of all those suffering beings in 2012. His visit was much
benefited to the people there.
From 2022 to 2023, he visited Buddhist Institute ni Kaohsiung ni Taiwan to teach the basic Buddhist Philosophy and Dialectics and also basic Tibetan Language. For the same time, he got the opportunity to learn Chinese language.
In February 2024, he visited Vietnam along with Tulku Tenzin Gelek Rinpoche for one month for the religious purposes.
Currently, he practices and helps the young monks with their studies at the monastery.
