Marc Anthony Thompson is a reluctant singer and indolent songwriter; an autodidactic musician, composer, sound designer and filmmaker. He has collaborated with a wide range of genre defying citizens from Phillip Glass and Spike Lee to Bruce Springsteen and The Roots. 

Mr. Thompson’s songs have been recorded by Lizz Wright & Mandy Patinkin as well as featured on the screen in Breaking Bad, Trust the Man , HBO’s Everyday People, Showtime’s Lebron James produced – Shut Up and Dribble  and, most recently Marc Anthony scored the documentary Invisible Beauty – directed by and about Bethann Hardison.

With his internationally based nucleus – Chocolate Genius Incorporated – Mr. Thompson has released 5 discs of songs centered on the themes of Life, Death and The Quest for the Perfect Postprandial.

Mr. Thompson’s first musical ( The Nigger Lovers ) will premier at the Magic Theater in San Francisco on May 12th .
